Here you will see the ancient Nalanda University and the beautiful gardens and the museums. Nalanda University was established in 5th century A.D. and it was built in Kushana style of architecture in Red Rocks.

This university is considered as the world first residential university, where students came from all over the world to study here, Here were total 2000 teachers who taught 10000 students. This place is famous due to the Buddha was teaching himself and Here you will see small rooms and the stupas where all the students were studying.

Here is a temple of Hieun-Tsang who was the Chinese traveller and was a great scholar, he was the student of this university.

2.Rajgir


Rajgir is 15 km far from the Nalanda, here you will see the beautiful mountains, temples and the monuments. It is the famous tourist's spots in Bihar due to the Vishwa Shanti Stupa, Brahmakund, Pawapuri, Jal Mandir, Ghora Katora lake, Swarna Bhandar and many more are there to visit.

You can visit these places by booking a ‘Tanga’ which charges around Rs 400. You can visit Vishwa Shanti Stupa through ropeway it looks beautiful while going on top from ropeway. Rajgir mountains look very beautiful from the ropeway and here is the famous Kund which called as Brahmakund here you will see that the Kund water is hot in every season which is also called as the Brahmakund spring. It is believed that in this Kund lord Buddha and Mahavira had bathed in this Kund.

4.Buxar


Buxar is situated at the bank of the river Ganga, Buxar is famous for its battle and the fort. Buxar fort was built in 1054 A.D. here you will see the construction of this carving of this fort has amazing views and the battle of Buxar was fought on 22nd October 1764 between the British India company and the Mir Qasim who was the Nawab of Bengal.
